When people ask what I write about when blending holistic wellness and philosophy, I can usually only reply, “A little bit of everything.” Philosophy isn't confined to specific subjects; it's a broad concept that encompasses every aspect of human life that we can share or experience. This is because we can and should apply the love of wisdom to all areas of our lives. Holistic wellness aligns with both philosophy and reality, but with its primary focus on health and happiness. So, when people inquire about what topics they may find in my writings, I genuinely mean that anything is possible!
Personally, I enjoy learning about the power of nutrition and athletics just as much as I do about art and music. I have explored many common and unique avenues in psychology and psychoanalysis, and I have also enjoyed studying life coaching, motivation, and the roots of human desire. I became interested in understanding nervous system dysfunction and conditions some consider incurable or untreatable. Along the way, I developed an understanding of the roots of inflammation, chronic pain, physical irregularities, and how to address many forms of environmental toxicity. I spent thousands of hours delving into why humans experience self-destructive thoughts, anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, personality splits, emotional inconsistency, harmful behaviors, genetic disorders, and chronic fatigue. Although challenging and exciting in the same breath, I continue to deepen my knowledge of energy, non-physical assistance, metaphysical healing, and emotional flow, which I find deeply enriching.
Over the years, I have developed a profound fascination with a wide variety of religious and spiritual teachings. I appreciate academic, traditional, and alternative history, as well as the ways different cultures seek sustainable well-being from individual, communal, and global perspectives. I value the ideas of countless brilliant minds on topics such as social behavior, political philosophy, science, evolution, creation, human origin, environmental sustainability, technology, astronomy, the nature of reality, aesthetics, epistemology, critique, morality, and social ethics.
I wish I could claim to understand every detail of these tantalizing themes that encompass thousands of texts, but that would be quite an implausible accomplishment for a single human mind. Personally, I focus more on how information can be used to improve our health and happiness rather than on perfect memorization or absolute empirical accuracy. Regardless of the subject, I always try to identify at least one valuable vindication or impactful insight from my explorations across every educational category that comes my way.
Furthermore, I have encountered many of the health challenges and psychological uncertainties mentioned above during my life and on my personal wellness journey. I opted to write within the realm of philosophy because it offers me true freedom in my thoughts and the space to discuss whatever brings healing and peace to my mind and body. Despite not having decades of formal education in these subjects, my lack of degrees has not prevented me from becoming a capable writer focused on holistic wisdom. I have learned well over the years that everyday experience, common observation, and philosophical reflection are valuable teachers for those seeking the knowledge to live a meaningful life. The result of many years of firsthand experience, self-study, and relentless pondering is that I am humbled to embody both lived and learned knowledge concurrently. This allows me to shed light on many unique forms of healing and suffering while relating to a multitude of exceptional human beings.
Above all, my primary objective is to advance the dissemination of interconnected knowledge under the torch of purpose. This is in the hope that future individuals and generations can achieve in months or years what will have taken me and many alive today decades to accomplish. This progress is only possible because of the dedicated efforts of many predecessors who devoted their entire lives to enlightening a specific slice of reality. For those who feel that pieces are missing in their pursuit of total contentment and fulfillment, my compilation of work may be invaluable to their progression. Along the way, I hope to broaden a few minds, build bridges between seemingly unrelated subject matter, and help anyone interested feel inspired and supported on their health and happiness journey.
